The recipe we use is fairly basic and is a really zingy, delicious, low carb version of the traditional Worcestershire sauce.
We use this sauce to flavour our steaks and to flavour fried mushrooms with buttery Worcester sauce, and to marinate meat for a few hours before cooking.
It has such a great flavour. You could definitely add some natural erythritol or stevia-based sweetener if you desire.
The recipe we use this sauce for the most is to make our Keto BBQ Sauce and Keto Smokey BBQ Sauce.
Using our Keto Tomato Ketchup Sauce and Worcestershire, you can make a delicious Keto BBQ Sauce.
The spices this Worcestershire contains are so good for you.
Standing out the most are cinnamon, garlic and paprika. As you may know, cinnamon helps to regulate blood glucose levels, thereby reducing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Plus it is delicious in both sweet and savoury dishes.
Garlic, although it’s probably much better in its freshest form rather than in powdered garlic, it helps to reduce high blood pressure helps to support the immune system in fighting colds and flu’s, and is known to reduce bad cholesterol.
Paprika is very impressive with its super strength levels of antioxidants. As we know, antioxidants help slow the ageing process and also help to fight against autoimmune diseases.
It is also classed as an anti-inflammatory which is great for inflammatory diseases such as PCOS, Endometriosis, autoimmune disease and arthritis.
Paprika has use in so many recipes, both sweet and savoury.
