You might have heard of this recipe if you watched Michael Mosley “Lost one stone in 21 days” on Channel 4 recently. Michael Mosley is popular for his The Fast 800 books of method and recipes, very similar to the Newcastle diet, it aims at putting you in starvation ketosis at 800kcal per day, without removing many carbs so that not only you’re damaging your metabolism, but you also do it really hard and hungry cause with carbs your insulin still goes up and down making you hungry.
So here’s one of the most popularised recipes, portobello pizza keto stuffed mushrooms made proper keto in the UK . In his original he uses cherry tomatoes and tomato paste, both bringing seriously up the carbs. In this recipe, both portobello mushroom pizzas only have 3g carbs, per both. Coming from only 100g of tomato passata.
